Wildlife Rescue Training Dates

Want to Become a Volunteer Wildlife Rescuer?

We run free training for interested members of the community on very basic wildlife rescue, transport and temporary care in order to have a database of names of people all around the state that can be on-call to help.  These are people who can get to an animal in need quickly and follow the right first aid steps in order to maximise chances of survival and relieve pain and stress for individual animals.

There is absolutely no obligation to sign up to our rescue service afterwards, and you'll come away with skills that you can use in the event of a wildlife emergency.

The sessions run for approximately 6 hours and are absolutely free.

Children are welcome but please be aware we do cover some sensitive topics including euthanasia. Young children do make pretty perfect helpers in many situations, so don't be deterred!

Session sold out?

We often experience a few last minute drop outs, so set a reminder to check back the day before the training runs - any spots that have opened up will be visible. Unfortunately we are unable to 'waitlist' anyone.
